Comedian Kevin Hart to Sport Tradition Ever Since HBCU Clothing on BET!

Unless you’ve been living in a remote cave, marooned in space or otherwise separated from society, you almost certainly know of Kevin Hart – the popular comedian who’s short on height but long on hilarious jokes.
What you don’t know is that he’s a fan of HBCU gear and of yours truly, Tradition Ever Since! In fact, Hart, a supporter of the nation’s black colleges and universities, was recently so inspired by our black college clothing that he agreed to sport some of our favorite pieces on his new comedic reality show, Real Husbands of Hollywood!

You read that right – the burgeoning actor and comedian will wear Tradition black college clothing in Season 2 of his show, which airs on BET. Check out a clip:

“Just like his words in (his comedy special) ‘Seriously Funny’ – it’s about to go down!” said our very own spokesman Gerard Murray last week when we got the confirmation that things were a go.

Created by Hart himself, the comedy improv show follows him along with other married celebrities as they try to climb Hollywood’s social ladder. The funny part is that it’s entirely fake – a send up of so-called “reality TV” that takes jabs at everything from the constant backbighting and bickering to the phony confessional scenes that are reality TV staples.

Hart is slated to wear some Tradition gear in one of those confessional scenes and other product placements will be scattered through the season! Season 1 of the show is expected to air in a week; the show got the green light for a 10-episode second season just this month.

This is a major product placement both for Tradition and for the historically black colleges and universities we represent! Who says HBCUs are out of style?
